Contaminant analyses have included polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (including DDT, hexachlorobenzene [HCB], hexachlorocyclohexanes [HCH] and chlordanes), mercury, methylmercury and organotins. Current species include common murres (Uria aalge), thick-billed murres (U. lomvia), glaucous gulls (Larus hyperboreus) and glaucous-winged gulls (L. glaucescens). |
