2024 ARCUS Membership Committee
The ARCUS Membership Committee is an ARCUS standing committee established by the Board of Directors to play an active volunteer leadership role in building and sustaining the community relationships that are the cornerstone of the ARCUS mission, and that are necessary to realize the ARCUS strategic goals. The ARCUS Membership Committee is charged with planning and supporting ARCUS member engagement activities, including planning and hosting the ARCUS Annual Meeting.
2021-2022 Interdisciplinary Research Committee
The ARCUS Interdisciplinary Research Committee is an ARCUS ad-hoc committee established by the Board of Directors to play an active volunteer leadership role in realizing current ARCUS strategic plan goals and objectives to facilitate and support Arctic research collaboration. The committee will work with ARCUS staff to suggest specific actions that ARCUS should take to help increase the capacity of the wider Arctic research community to undertake interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and convergence research and advise, support, and take part in ARCUS efforts to implement committee recommendations.
PolarTREC Advisory Committee
The PolarTREC Advisory Committee works with ARCUS staff to share ideas on how to structure PolarTREC program activities so they are inclusive of both formal and informal educators.
Funding Awards Committee
The ARCUS Funding Awards Committee works with ARCUS staff on the administration of a funding awards program designed to encourage the participation of diverse early-career Arctic researchers in scientific conferences, meetings, and events.
2020 ARCUS Strategic Planning Committee
The ARCUS Strategic Meeting Planning Committee is an ARCUS ad-hoc committee established by the Board of Directors to facilitate the development of a new ARCUS Strategic Plan for 2020–2025.
2020–2021 Community and Citizen Science Conference Steering Committee
The Community and Citizen Science (CCS) in the Far North Conference Steering Committee is an ad hoc group of citizen science and community-based monitoring leaders and participants assembled by ARCUS to plan and execute a virtual conference on Arctic CCS during October 2021.
2017-2019 ARCUS Advisory Council
