Andi Lloyd is a Professor of Biology at Middlebury College in Vermont. In her research, she uses tree rings to understand the effects of climate variation on the structure and distribution of the boreal forest. She has worked throughout Alaska and in Siberia. Andi teaches classes in ecology, evolution, plant ecology, and global change biology at Middlebury College. She received her PhD in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Arizona in 1996, where she worked in the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research. She also holds a M.S. from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a B.A. in Geography from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
Lloyd is responsible for overseeing the collection, measurement and analysis of tree ring data in the Seasonality project she is a PI on. She has worked closely with Duffy to apply a new statistical technique to the analysis of climate-growth relationships.
