The Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS) is launching a new monthly community call series in 2025 to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and address key Arctic research challenges. These interactive calls will provide a platform for researchers, policymakers, Indigenous leaders, educators, and other Arctic stakeholders to connect, discuss pressing issues, and explore solutions together.
Each call will feature timely discussion topics, opportunities for open dialogue, and a chance to engage with experts and peers across ARCUS’s broad research network.
First Call – 14 February 2025
Discussion Topic: Arctic research implications of recent executive orders
This session will explore how new federal policies may impact Arctic research, funding opportunities, and regional priorities.
Special Feature: Welcome to ARCUS’s New Board Members
Join us in welcoming the newest members of the ARCUS Board of Directors, who will share their vision for the organization and its role in advancing Arctic research.
Whether you’re an established researcher, early-career scientist, or someone looking to engage with the Arctic research community, these calls offer a valuable opportunity to stay informed, collaborate, and strengthen connections.
