The American Meteorology Society invites abstracts for their 102nd Annual Meeting. This conference will convene 23-27 January 2022 in Houston, Texas.
The following session invites abstracts:
Interactions between Atmospheric Chemistry and Boundary Layer Dynamics
Boundary layer dynamics play an important role in the mixing and chemistry of trace gases and aerosols. However, boundary layer processes are poorly represented in regional and global models, leading to significant biases in understanding near-surface air quality. The goal of this session is to solicit recent observations and modeling studies that advance our understanding and interpretation of the vertical distribution of atmospheric composition along with boundary layer evolution. Relevant research topics include, but not limited to, urban air quality, wildfire chemistry and dynamics, chemistry, and convection in cloud-topped boundary layers.
