The Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS) announces the release of 30 virtual meeting backgrounds.
ARCUS supports a rich range of Arctic research, education, and communication activities. Our Polar Media Archive is a valuable resource that is home to over 20,000 beautiful photos from across the Arctic: photos in the Archive are available for not-for-profit, non-commercial use with proper attribution. We’re proud to present 30 hand-picked images to serve as virtual meeting backgrounds.
These backgrounds highlight the diverse landscapes and wildlife of the Arctic, including:
- Red fox kits playing in the snow;
- Candle ice on Toolik Lake,
- A Caribou strolling through a snowstorm,
- A glacier terminus near Kongsfjorden inlet, and
- Much more.
Information on how to enable virtual backgrounds is available from the Zoom Help Center. Setup varies across meeting platforms.
