Navigating the New Arctic (NNA), one of the National Science Foundation's 10 Big Ideas, tackles convergent scientific challenges in the rapidly changing Arctic that are needed to inform the economy, security, and resilience of the Nation, the larger region, and the globe. This solicitation invites proposals that bring together diverse disciplinary perspectives to support convergence research and encourages new researchers and those already working in the Arctic to work together at the intersection of natural, social, and built systems.
During informational webinars held in December 2018, NNA Program Officers discussed the Navigating the New Arctic Solicitation 19-511. Presentation slides are available to download from the NSF Navigating the New Arctic (NNA) webpage at https://www.nsf.gov/geo/opp/arctic/nna/index.jsp.
