Organizers invite those involved with the coordination and management of large collaborative research efforts to participate in a half-day series of events on Tuesday, 11 December 2018 in Washington D.C.
This series of presentations and networking activities have been convened to explore topics of interest to research project and community managers.
There are a number of Arctic research affiliated organizations and contacts participating including the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee, National Science Foundation Polar Programs, NASA Arctic Boreal Vulnerability Experiment (ABoVE), the Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS), the Polar Research Board, the Permafrost Carbon Network, the Arctic Data Center, Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz-Center for Polar and Marine Research, Alaska EPSCoR, and the Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS).
Attendees will need to be registered for the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting to participate in the afternoon poster session. However, the oral presentations being held at the Cambria Hotel and the networking dinner at Convivial are both open events.
