The Byrd Polar Research Center of The Ohio State University invites
applications for a Research Associate position within the Ice Core
Paleoclimatology Group. The successful candidate will work as part of an
interdisciplinary team to reconstruct and understand past climatic and
environmental variability as recorded in ice cores collected from the poles

A Ph.D. in atmospheric or environmental chemistry or a related field is
desirable. Candidates should have experience in ion chromatography, trace
chemical analysis and clean room procedures. Expertise in atmospheric
chemistry, chemical stratigraphy, or time series analysis would be
advantageous.
