4th Fourth Congress of Russian Ethnographers and Anthropologists
First Announcement
Russian Ethnographical and Anthropological Association (REAA), in
collaboration with the Institute for Humanitarian Researches, the Republic
of Kabardino-Balkariya, Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center, Russian
Academy of Science, Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Russian Academy
of Science and Kabardino-Balkarian Republican Branch of Interregional Public
Organization "Scientific Society of Ethnographers and Anthropologists", is
pleased to announce its Fourth Congress of Russian Ethnographers and
Anthropologists to be held at Nalchik, the Republic of Kabardino-Balkariya,
in September, 2001.
We are planning to discuss ethnological and anthropological approaches on a
problem of time and how time changes approaches of researchers for the same
most problem.
Besides we will discuss other important problems, which is connected with
formation and development of Peoples and Cultures, linguistic, ethnocultural
and ethnopolitical situations and processes, in particular the Caucasus
region; scientific development's questions, ethnographical Museology and
others. Results of last researches in area of physical anthropology, gender
studies, ethnogenetical studies, Folk and State Law, ethnoarchaeological and
ethnodemographical investigations will be presented.
We would like to receive proposals on the organization of "round" tables,
sections and symposiums.
