Reconstruction of the geological and geomorphological impact of the ice
sheets has important consequence in geoscience. The present report is an
attempt to point some worldwide geological features related with
tectonic structure. Common structural features with erosional and
geomorphological patterns of the areas recently covered by continental
ice sheets are discussed, as well as models of development of some
Arctic regions, like the Barents shelf.
