16th International Symposium on Ice

You are warmly invited to attend the 16th International Symposium on Ice
sponsored by the International Association for Hydraulic Engineering and
Research. This is to be held in Dunedin, New Zealand from 2-6 December
2002, in the early New Zealand summer.
The Symposium will cover a range of issues in river, lake, and sea ice
research. A list of workshops and special sessions will be posted on the
symposium web site shortly.
Well respected for its high-quality eco-tourism in the nearby Otago
Peninsula, Dunedin has air, bus, and train links with international
flights which fly into Christchurch or Auckland.
