This is the first circular of the Arctic Science Summit Week 2002. Next
year's ASSW is organized in Groningen, the Netherlands, hosted by the
Arctic Centre, University of Groningen.
Arctic Science Summit Week is an initiative of the International Arctic
Science Committee (IASC). The purpose of the summit is to provide for
opportunities for coordination, collaboration, and cooperation in all
areas of arctic science, and to combine science and management meetings
to save on travel and time.
All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging
arrangements. However, we will enable you to arrange your hotel
accommodation easily by using the service of the Groningen Conference
Agency. More information on hotel arrangements will be posted on this
web site in December 2001.
The ASSW 2002 web site will keep you up-to-date on the organization of
the ASSW.
