PARCS Theme Session: Modes of Arctic Climate Variability and Warmth

The 34th Annual International Arctic Workshop will be held 11-13 March
2004, at the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR),
University of Colorado at Boulder. The Workshop is open to all
interested in the Arctic.
Talks and poster sessions are organized around themes developed from the
abstracts submitted. One of the many themes will be a session on "Modes
of Arctic Climatic Variability and Warmth." All Arctic Workshop
participants are invited to submit abstracts to this theme session.
Graduate student presenters will receive free registration and
reimbursement for meals and hotel charges.

PRE-WORKSHOP MEETING
A one-day Paleoenvironmental ARCtic Sciences (PARCS) Community-wide
Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 10 March 2004. This meeting will
coordinate on-going research activities related to the current PARCS
research focus, and discuss new ides for organized paleoenvironmental
research in the Arctic. It will be held at the National Center for
Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado.
