The Canadian Museum of Nature and the National Research Center Canada
announce the publication of "Flora of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago."
The publication is a comprehensive scholastic guide to the 349 ferns and
flowering plants of the Canadian Arctic Islands. It features detailed
morphological descriptions, distribution maps, notes on taxonomy,
distribution, ecology, and indigenous knowledge, and an extensive
bibliography. It includes more than 3000 color photographs and line
drawings of the habitat, flowers, and distinguishing features of each
species. The compilation is published in CD-ROM, DELTA format that
allows for interactive identification.
