The early registration deadline for the 2008 Alaska Park Science
Symposium and Beringia Days 2008 ends Monday, 1 September 2008. Please
remember that all participants, including National Park Service (NPS)
members and presenters must register and pay the conference fee. The early
registration fee is $150. After the early registration period is
over, the registration
fee will go up to $180.

The symposium, focused on the theme "Natural and Cultural Heritage of
Greater Beringia," is a three-day meeting with two concurrent sessions
each day. The main sessions are:
- Flora
- Ethnography and Subsistence
- Park Conservation
- Physical Sciences
- Wildlife
- Tourism
- Fire
