The Technical Program Committee of the first Workshop on Hyperspectral
Image and Signal Processing (Evolution in Remote Sensing) (WHISPERS) has
released the preliminary technical program. WHISPERS will be held in
Grenoble, France, 26-28 August 2009. To view the technical program,

The conference aims at gathering the different communities involved in
hyperspectral processing and spectroscopy. The plenary talks will focus
on food safety, remote sensing of the environment, and planetary
exploration.
In addition to the scientific program, the social program includes a
banquet on top of the Bastille, with a cablecar lift and a breathtaking
view over the city and the Alps. A wine and cheese experience, as well
as a day trip to Annecy are also currently being planned.
Online registration is now open. The early bird registration discount
will end on Wednesday, 1 July 2009.
