Session organizers invite attendees of the Ecological Society of America
(ESA) Annual Meeting to session OOS 1 - "Ecological Contributions to the
International Polar Year (IPY): High Latitude Ecosystem Ecology in an
Era of Global Change." The ESA Annual Meeting is taking place at the
Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 2-7 August
2009. The session will be convened Monday, 3 August 2009, at 1:30 p.m.
in the San Miguel Room.
The session will describe both measurements and models of polar
biogeochemistry and hydrology, as well as the combination of
measurements and models using data assimilation. More information,
