This week's webinar is entitled "Graphic Design 101 for Scientists: Tips
for Improving Talks, Reports, Posters, and Figures." It will be
presented by Kristin Timm, graduate student and science communicator at
the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Color, layout, typography, and
photography are important components of an effective presentation or
publication for any audience. Kristin has over 10 years of graphic
design experience related to science and environmental issues and will
discuss the use of color, tips for creating good layout, typography, and
branding for graphic consistency. Using the science of color and design,
you can give your presentations, reports, and other print materials a
distinctive edge.
