The University of the Arctic is pleased to present a new publication -
"On Top of It: Overcoming the Challenges of ICT and Distance Education
in the Arctic."
"On Top of It" is an assembly of fifteen articles from experts concerned
with the potential of information and communications technology (ICT) in
bringing higher education to the population in the peripheral areas.
This publication addresses government policy, international cooperation,
indigenous perspectives, distance pedagogy, effective evaluation,
infrastructure needs, institutional changes, and social relations as
they relate to Arctic education and new technologies.
