The University of Alaska Fairbanks seeks to hire a visiting adjunct
professor of Geology and Geophysics for one semester (spring 2006) to
teach one introductory course (Historical Geology) and one intermediate
writing-intensive course (Paleobiology and Invertebrate Paleontology)
with accompanying labs. A Ph.D. or M.S. in geology or paleontology is
required. The successful applicant will demonstrate commitment to
undergraduate education and experience in invertebrate paleontology and
sedimentary geology.
