2006 Marine Science in Alaska Symposium

The 2006 Marine Science in Alaska Symposium will be held Sunday, 22
January through Wednesday, 25 January 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska. This
year's event begins with a Sunday evening reception and poster session
followed by three days of speakers and presentations organized
geographically (Gulf of Alaska on Monday, Bering Sea/Aleutians on
Tuesday, and Arctic on Wednesday). The symposium will include special
evening sessions on oil spill restoration and ocean policy issues with
invited speakers. A number of associated meetings and workshops will be
held immediately following the symposium from Wednesday afternoon
through Friday.
The deadline for submitting abstracts for either an oral presentation or
a poster is Monday, 28 November 2005. After you register yourself for
the symposium, you can submit your poster or presentation abstracts at:
