The National Science Foundation (NSF) is hiring an Antarctic Research
Support Manager.
The Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and
coordination of the operational support plans for over one hundred
scientific projects that annually take place on the continent of
Antarctica. The person selected is also responsible for assisting in the
development of long range and multi-year plans to support future
scientific projects. As the Program Research Support Section (PRSS)
specialist for all Antarctic logistics support, the incumbent
coordinates in these activities with Program Officers in the Office of
Polar Program (OPP), and with other managers in PRSS, principal
investigators, support contractors, other Federal agencies, and the
Department of Defense.
