The Climate and Land-Surface Systems Interaction Centre (CLASSIC)
invites PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from around the world
in disciplines related to climate, climate impact, earth observation,
and ecological research to participate in a Spring School to study the
interactions between the land-surface and atmosphere in the Arctic.
The aim of the school is to provide a unique environment for young
researchers from different disciplines to interact with one another and
with renowned scientists from within the UK and overseas. The CLASSIC
Spring School will provide lectures plus hands-on laboratory and
field-based workshops addressing:
- land-atmosphere interactions in the Arctic,
- measurement and modelling,
- application of earth observation measurements, and
- ecological processes and dynamics.
