The Government of Nunavut (GN) and Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI)
announce the release of the Nunavut Adult Learning Strategy, a document
to help the region's adult learners participate more fully in the
expanding economy of Nunavut.
Developed by a working group co-chaired by representatives from GN and
NTI, the Adult Learning Strategy lays new groundwork for adult education
in Nunavut based on economic and community development needs. The
72-page report contains detailed action items, including steps to
promote and increase accessibility of programs and secure community
involvement in decision-making about adult education opportunities, an
implementation plan, and a quality assurance and accountability
framework.
