Papers are now being accepted for the Greenland IPY 2007 Space Science
Symposium (GSSS-2007), which will be held on 4-9 May 2007, in
Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Submissions are invited on topics related to
solar-terrestrial interactions at high latitudes and those that address
theory, modeling, numerical simulations, and polar observations.
Particular emphasis will be placed on interhemispheric coupling and
global system dynamics, past and present observations made from
Greenland, and the future role of high latitude measurement programs.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for presentations and
coordination of existing and planned networks of ground-based
instruments and space probes. Modeling results that indicate specific
needs for additional data acquisition to address scientific issues
and/or to validate models are also particularly relevant.
Participants may now register for the conference, reserve lodging, and
submit abstracts at the GSSS-2007 website available at:
http://www.gsss-2007.org/
GSSS-2007 is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Greenland
Guide Index, Danish Meteorological Institute, Danish Polar Center, and
Danish National Space Center.
