Papers are now being accepted until Wednesday, 28 February 2007, for the
joint congress of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographical
Society, Canadian Geophysical Union, and American Meteorological Society
(CMOS-CGU-AMS) and the Eastern Snow Conference (ESC) being held on 28
May-1 June 2007, in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
The theme of the congress is, "Air, Ocean, Earth and Ice on the Rock,"
which reflects the objective to explore, link, bridge, and integrate the
scientific interests of the participating organizations. A number of
topical sessions have been organized under these categories:
- Interdisciplinary;
- Atmosphere;
- Climate;
- Geophysics;
- Hydrology;
- Ocean; and
- Snow.
Abstracts of no more than 300 words with no figures must be submitted by
Wednesday, 28 February 2007, at the CMOS-CGU-AMS website, which is
