The Department of Earth Sciences at University College London (UCL)
invites applications for two lectureships in any area of Earth,
environmental, and planetary sciences. Applicants whose research
complements the current activities within the department are
particularly welcome. The successful applicants will have a record of
research and the potential to become leaders in the field. The positions
are scheduled to begin 1 October 2007.
The Department of Earth Sciences is part of the joint UCL-Birkbeck
Research School of Earth Science, which includes 35 academic staff
members, 15 research fellows, and 60 PhD students. The Centre for Polar
Observation and Modelling is also affiliated with the Department of
Earth Sciences.
