3rd European Conference on PermafrostLongyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway
The 3rd European Conference on Permafrost (EUCOP III) is planned for 13-17 June 2010. It will be held in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway at the University Centre in Svalbard.
The conference will focus on both arctic and alpine permafrost research, and recent achievements like the permafrost related IPY campaigns. Issues related to CO2-storage in permafrost areas will also be covered. The conference will also host the official IPA Executive Committee and Council meetings.
